“Elijah!!” She ran out of the house and dragged him back, tears running down her face. “Please please stay.” She begged.

Eli sighed looking at Fiona, he pulled her in for a hug, feeling so bad. If she didn’t care this much she wouldn’t have chased him this far. He pulled away and kissed her lips, longily. It began to rain and Eli pulled away from the kiss, “Please, don’t do it again.”

She nodded, “Okay.” And hopped in his arms. “I love you so so much.” She buried her face in his neck, tugging at his hair. “Im sorry.”

Eli rubbed her back and began walking as the rain grew stronger. “I love you too,”

“Lets go back in. We cant leave the kids.” She said. Eli carried them inside and she sat on the couch and tied her wet hair back.

“But were you drunk the other time?” Eli asked looking down at her. “I always forgive you cause I love you so much, and I do but i just I don’t know.” he said walking away to the living room. They had spent half of their day at the beach, in the very spot they got married in, just hearing about this grew Eli depressed.

She wiped her bottom lids that were about to shed tears as she walked over to him, “Please stop walking away. Im sorry, you know I love you.” She leaned and kissed his cheek. “I have no idea who they were, it doesnt matter. Its over, I promise. Give me credit for at least being honest with you”

“They?” he looked over at her “Multiple people?” he shook his head and chuckled. “Wow.” he thought to himself. Eli turned to Fiona looking at her, in her eyes. “Fiona, I still love you. But…” he shook his head.

“No, not they. It was one person. I didnt mean to say that—-stupid pronouns.” She softly smiled. “Eli, there is no but you have to stay with me. You cant leave me ever. You promised.”

“And I’m not going to leave you, I just need to think.” he said getting up and going upstairs.

“No.” She cried pulling him back. “Stay here with me please. I dont need you to think about it. I dont need you to find a reason to leave. Baby please, just sit with me.” She begged

Eli sighed, “Fiona, please.” he said pulling away from her grip. “I’m just going for a walk.” he slipped on his shoes and walked out the door.
